Dr. Jordan Prieto was born in Fresno and raised in Clovis, CA.  He graduated from Buchanan High School.  After high school, he attended CSU Fresno where he received a scholarship to play baseball.  He graduated magna cum laude from CSU Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.  In 2010, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California.  He received the Thor Award and the Charles M. and Shirley Goldstein Endowed Community Service Award, both honoring his outstanding dedication and service in providing dental care to children in underserved communities while at USC.

 

Following graduation from USC, he completed a 2 year pediatric dental residency at Louisiana State University in affiliation with Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. During this time he received extensive clinical, emergency, and hospital training, education on the growth and development of children, and the treatment of medically and physically compromised patients.

 

Dr Prieto is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, Fresno Madera Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr Prieto enjoys creating a positive, comfortable experience for his patients.  He believes that prevention of dental disease is the most critical factor to establishing a happy, healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

 

Dr Prieto feels truly blessed to have been able to fulfill his lifelong dream of making a difference in the lives of children on a daily basis.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Kristen and their daughter Nola.  Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.
