Dr. Zachery Davis is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who goes by Dr. Z around the office. He was born in Hollywood, California. However, he grew up all around the West Coast. Since he moved frequently he learned to make new friends often, which lead him to become extremely outgoing. While other children wanted to be firefighters or astronauts, Dr. Z always wanted to be a dentist.

He attended Southern Utah University, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.  While there he served as the class Vice President. Throughout dental school he led and was active in many organizations devoted to serving pediatric patients, including those with special health care needs. He received awards for clinical efficiency and excellence. Following dental school he completed a two year pediatric dental residency at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA; where he served as chief resident. His training specialized in caring for children with special health care needs.

Being a “Big Kid” at heart, Dr. Z is constantly singing Disney songs and doing magic tricks. He has found it is difficult to be nervous when you are having fun. His goal is to eliminate the anxiety of going to the dentist; because he has seen the negative effect it can have when established early, through his own loved ones experiences. He believes, positive health care interactions during childhood can translate to better health choices in the future.

He and his wife have two beautiful girls and a new baby on the way. Dr. Z loves all sports, but has a special love for college football. The Davis family likes to go on walks, bike rides, play games, go swimming, watch movies, but most of all they just love to have fun together.
